8/29 Armour
Today in Honors Physics, Mrs. Costs-Haan walked around and checked to see if our lab manuals were in our binders. We were assigned new seats today. We divided up a poster board into three or four different sections and decorated it to fit one’s personality. In the middle of that poster we put all the characteristics that we had in common as a group and we put our team name in the middle also. Charlie’s team had the best name with Fanned Straight Dank. While we were working on this fun activity Mrs. Coats-Haan passed out our textbooks and told us our scores that we received on the pre-test. After all the groups finished we shared our posters with the whole class. At the end of class Mrs. Coats-Haan gave us a worksheet for homework that is titled “Book Treasure Hunt”. This work sheet is to help us understand the features of our textbook. We also have to cover our textbooks with a book cover. We didn’t get to Bernoulli’s principal today in class, so that is all we covered today in Physics. Even though we didn’t get to Bernoulli’s’ principal today in class, I will still answer the question of the day. What is Bernoulli’s principal? Bernoulli’s principal states that an increase in the speed of fluid occurs simultaneously with a decrease in pressure. Tomorrow we have a procedures quiz.
